Born in the year 1995, Dahisar, Maharashtra, this Marathi Mulgi was born with stars in her eyes and dreams to rock the tinsel world of Bollywood.
Ankita hails from a middle class background, her parents are in Government departments,
and like any other parents wanted her to take up engineering or any other lucrative field, but
her dreams were different, maths and science were not her first love, she had already fallen
in love with Bollywood and knew that was her calling card.
Her father observed that she loved dancing and acting and was a good looker too. He encouraged her to follow her dreams. She had her portfolio clicked, and now she was all
armed and set to carve a niche for herself in the film world. Ankita’s biggest strength is her
unflinching faith in God and her positivity, and that is what makes her stand out from the rest. She is very confident of meeting with success and making it big in Bollywood. In her own words “I see myself as a versatile heroine. I know one day I will work with Amir Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani and will create History.”
REACH FOR THE STARS
A simple girl with moderate means, she is full of life and courage and likes to take life one
day at a time. After having bagged a number of TV shows which includes big names like
Pavitra Rishta, Akbar Birbal and has starred in the Hindi film Saturday Night 2014 as
the parallel lead.
She has also acted in a Marathi film Amcha Nadi Lagu Naka as the main lead.
According to Ankita, life has taught her a great deal. She has had good and bad experiences, but her philosophy is to leave the bad things behind, forgive and forget, and move on in life with gusto and a never say die attitude.
A small girl dared to dream big and with her God by her side, her parents’ blessings, and her positive outlook towards life, she is now on her way to rock the world….and she knows she will not only rock, but shake it too.
